The Family Future Grant provides financial support to families across the United States, including Hawaii, to help address various needs such as education, healthcare, and economic development. The grant aims to assist families in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life.
How do I apply for a Family Future Grant?
To apply, submit a completed application form along with the required documentation, including proof of need, recent utility bills or financial statements, and KYC documentation (government-issued identification and Social Security number). Detailed instructions are provided on our application portal.
What are the different grant plans available?
We offer three grant plans:
- Essential Grant
- Advancement Grant
- Legacy Grant
What are the eligibility requirements for each grant plan?
Eligibility varies by plan:
- Essential Plan: Basic documentation of financial hardship and proof of need.
- Advancement Plan: Detailed financial statements, proof of ongoing expenses, and evidence of how the grant will help achieve specific goals.
- Legacy Plan: Comprehensive financial analysis, detailed expense reports, significant evidence of ongoing financial challenges, and a robust project plan showing long-term impact.
How long does it take to process an application?
Once you submit your application, we will process it within 7 days. If approved, reimbursement typically takes an additional 2-3 days.
What is required for KYC (Know Your Customer) verification?
For KYC verification, you must provide a government-issued identification and Social Security number. This ensures the identity of the applicant and helps us comply with regulatory requirements.
Can the grant funds be used for any purpose?
Grant funds must be used in accordance with the specific requirements of the chosen plan. Each plan outlines acceptable uses, such as educational resources, healthcare expenses, or essential living expenses. Funds must be used as detailed in your application and approved plan.
Can I apply for more than one grant plan?
Applicants may only apply for one grant plan at a time. If your needs change or if you require additional support, you may submit a new application in the future, following the completion of any previous grant utilization. Note that you can only apply once every 10 years.
How can I check the status of my application?
